less than1 liter, you need the bottle of lower gearcase oil, the pump, and some rags, it is filled from the bottom screw up, until it flows out the top screw, (there are two screws, one at the top, and one at the bottom), take both out to drain first, then fill from bottom up w/ the pump, until it overflows out the top screw, replace the top screw (vent), unscrew pump, replace bottom screw, be careful NOT to strip these, if the oil that comes out is milky white, then there is a leak at the seals.
