Question:
knows who might have made it, or the name of this type of boat. It was older,...70's I would guess. It was 12ft, all fiberglass, two seats, and could only have a limited outboard because of weight. It was like a jet boat desisn. The whole bow was flat and covered in fiberglass. I know that I am not giving you much but I have searched the web and cant find that exact boat. Thank You ever so much!

Peterboro also made a smaller 2-seater called a "Jet Star" that had no storage at all except for 1 fuel tank. It was more like 10' in length maximum and held a 25 hp or so as power.
I currently have a 1972 Cutter Arrowman that has been in our family for 31 years. It has a 50 hp Merc (1979) and is used every summer. It is in mint shape and looks about 5 years old at best due to the upkeep and care we give the old girl. It is a 4-seater with fixed (non-laydown) seats and goes about 37mph top end. It has a deep-V hull and is good on a 2 foot sea at full speed with little jarring. Fantastic hull design for rough water. Great little learning boat for the young folk. The new boats may look snazzier but this old girl holds her own in looks and practicality. Good Luck with your hunt into the past!
Can you use a Florida Boat License to operate in Italian waters?
I remember these as being a kit. However the newer Sea Do Boats are very similar.http://www.sea-doo.com/en-us/products/sp...
Why was the steamboat necessary ?
Have you tried Glen-L Boats on the web? They sell boat kits that have to be built but the pictures they have might give you some idea. I built the 11 foot "TNT" Model back in the 70's and loved it. I wanted to put a Jet Drive in it but couldn't find an engine that suited me. With 10 HP outboard it went in the 20's. I donated the boat and lost track of where it went after that. How can I make my SeaDoo Challenger 180 go faster? It already has a factory Super Charger on it.?
A Little "HYDRO", usually small about 8-12 ft. in length, the jet ski's kind of fazed them out, they used to be powered by like a 25 or 40 h.p motor, and went really fast, try "Wooden Boat" magazine, they had canvass stretched across the nose, and two pontoon's to get air under the hull for less surface contact, and more speed. looked like a mini "Bat Boat" !More Questions & Answers ...
