How much does a welder make like the most to the least for a really good pipe to a meiocre structural?

I've been in sheetmetal and welding since 1961 and the lowest I have made is here in polk county florida at $9. but, in the oilfields I made as high as $250.00 per hr...depends on where and what you are welding...Underwater and pipeline pays about the highest....good luck....
