Which is a better boat? A Searay or a Cobalt?
Personally Ron...I can't really agree with the other answer...We have similiar size boat's with different set ups here at our lake...It's the biggest in the Yukon and offers all kinds of water and conditions...If we took all the ships and boats out of the oceans would the ater level drop?
Firstly..Many questions...What is the construction of your craft...What are your uses for it...Do you need more room in the craft for fishing/cruises...Are you using it for mostly pleasure/skiing etc?? ...
If you want to use it for the latter ( recreation), and your boat is set up properly...I reccomend the outboard...If, however, it is more for fishing and family outings, I reccomend the in board...They offer better balance and stability...A little more involved to install, but, depending on the leg you choose, Are easier to maintain...In my experience, less expensive to maintain as well....
Is it true on a boat you can not use the toilet in mainland sea?
Outboards, especially the newer and larger output models, require an expensive specialist to maintain...
I would suggest you research the subject more on line, "or"...visit a few dealerships and discuss everything with a qualified rep...
anybody know the weight of a 2001 26foot sundancer?
The main thing is....Take your time and get the proper match for your craft..lenght, width, weight, uses etc, before you make a decision...
Is it true that if you're in a boat, and there's a hole in it, it will sink? What if you're on land?
Good luck in your search and keep on cruis'n...it's fun.. :)...Yukoneze
I doubt there would be much difference. Maintenance on the IO might cost more because of specialized parts though.
The inboard. It will also give the best grunt
get the best of both worlds ..get a 4 stroke outboard.........great on gas ..quite a buy if you ask me
