Hi People, its my long time dream to own a Kayak. I have searched online to buy one, but I couldnt find the right site. If anybody owns a Kayak pls do let me its cost and from where did you buy it. Is there any place in Tamilnadu where I can get one. Pls help me out....

I don't know where Tamilnadu is, but in Canada the best brand around is called Nimbus. We currently have 3 of them (2 tandems, 1 single) and we've owned more in the past, and they've always been incredibly steady and quick boats. You'll also be incredibly surprised how much gear you can fit in their hatches. The only other brand I have any familiarity with is Current Design, and it's quite a reliable, good brand for kayaks as well. I've been kayaking for the past 5 years or so, and it's an absolutely beautiful sport. It's easy to understand why it's your dream! I live on the West Coast of Canada near Vancouver so there are endless opportunities of islands, rivers, lakes and shorelines to explore....I wouldn't have gotten to go to half of the beautiful places I have without my trusty kayaks. Definitely check out those brands I talked about. Oh, and Werner paddles are the absolute best out there- unbelievably light and good shape. But also talk to lots of people in the water sports sections of different sports stores near where you live, and they'll get you set up because there's a lot of gear that you need to get when you're kayaking like rope, paddle floats, pumps, life jackets, etc. Best of luck!Does port and starboard change on ferries?
