does any 1 wanna swap my 9.9selva outboard engine for a 15hp engine?

It all depends on what marina you dock it at. It's like rent, it's different depending on where you go.

Why is the bathroom on a boat called a head ?

Boat Trailer Info Needed?

Docking is free, if you mean storing, it's called a slip, and it depends on if you want it wet or dry docked, for how long and the size of the boat. Type the lake or port name and the word slip on your search engine and you should find some info. I just did "Lake Pleasant slip" (I live near it) and the marina came up right away.

How do they get the ship in the bottle?

what is best way to join three wires, for two wires i would strip 10mm insulation, solder and heat shrink?

It does depend on your location but in my area (Long Island, NY) many marinas require a yearly dockage contract. I just got my bill for summer dockage/winter storage for my 30' boat. The grand total is $5400

information on boating, camping, skiing and motoring holidays?

I also live on LONG ISLAND in NY, and I pay $550 per season, it's a private house in "Oceanside", theire is only water, no electric (There is a plug if you really need it ther but, I wouldn't trust it) the dock looks like something out of a comic book but, it is secure, I don't spend much time at the dock so it is great for me. I have a 15' Boston Whaler, try to get Private house on the water to rent a slip from, it's cheaper, this place is great because, you can come back at ANY hour, leave at ANY hour, splash in, and take it out when ever you want in the season (I've broken ice on the way out for the season), the boat stays in the driveway of my house for the winter, many people say that my boat is too small, I like it because it's a "Whaler" No 1, and No. 2 it is very inexpensive for me to stay on the water, trailering is silly to me because, you spend your day fighting with the trailer, instead of enjoying your boat, a quick rinse down with a garden hose, and in 6 minutes I'm at home, not at the ramp with a trailer.

Who's going to Sidmouth for a spot of beach-coming?

Here on San Francisco Bay, the rates vary from $7.00 to over $10.00 per ft/month as measured from stem to stern. Utilities are usually additional. Liveaboard fees run about $150/month. There are a few marinas where You can actually purchase a slip as real property. As far as putting in at a dock, transient fees vary from flat rates of as little as $10/day to $2/ft/day depending upon the size of the boat and the length of stay.

Why do the Navy call submarine a boat and not a ship?

Just like in Real Estate, that depends upon three things, Location, Location, and Location. I have found occasional places to dock for free, and others that charged as much as $4.50 per foot per day. So in that instance, (Atlantis on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas), it would be $180.00 per day. And before all the math experts start calling me, they have a 40' minimum length and anyone shorter pays the higher tab. In Marina del Rey, Los Angeles CA, the rates run from about $300.00 to $510.00 per month for a 30' boat, whereas in Ft. Lauderdale the rates run from a low of $45.00 per month to a high of say a minimum of $159.00 per night at Bahia Mar. Best way to figure this out is to contact the dock master at one or more marinas in the area you would like to dock your boat. Good Luck.

i am looking for a boat trailer for a 16 foot boat in norh east area?

It costs 1700 for the summer contract from April 1 until September 30. That includes electric and water. Cable is 45 bucks a month extra. Why bother with that? I'm on the last out first in list. I'm in the water until the first week in November. To dock my 30' boat on Cayuga lake in the finger lakes region in Central NY. The lake is connected to the Erie canal system and I travel a lot on it. Winter storage and lay up runs 1100 for inside storage. Runs about 235 bucks a month averaged out over the year. Its all location location and location
