Difference between time and voyage charter party?

Question:

Answers:

i blown the top ring off a piston in a two stroke engine ,would it be because its to lean or the timings out?

Time charter is for a specific length of time, say 6 months to a year allowing for as many trips during that time frame.
Voyage charter is for single trip from one port to another, say a load of oranges from LA to Japan.

can i ask you question aboat the health?

The difference as I understand it is this:
On a time charter you would pay for a block of time (say 4hrs) and would have to pay additional if you went over.
On a voyage charter you pay a set amount for the trip, no matter if you get in early, late or on time

Funding for our Inland Waterways, what is happening?

One has a destination and one has a time. The voyage charter has a destination and is gauranteed to get there, the timed one just goes out and in within the agreed time..
