Will not go into reverse?

I have 75 30 ft bayliner with 302 ford &out drive,doe's this have transmission or is it shifted by cable,bellowes is broken and was in salt water,how do i fix,it goe's foward no problem.

on a boat that old, it could be the cable, the remote control box, or the transmission itself. being in salt water with a broken bellows is not good either. remove the outdrive and check shift cable movement and see if you can shift the unit by hand. it really does sound like a job for a pro, but it's so old you'll have trouble finding someone that will even let it in their shop. best of luck.
