A benetea sloop (sailboat) would be a dream to own for a home on the water. They have beautiful lines, beautiful accommodations and are well built. My other favorite boat (ship) were the LNG carriers going to Japan. Large cabins, a large enough deck to bike around, a pool, thousands of movies, good food, two weight rooms, good pay, great ports in Japan and Indonesia.

A 16' aluminum v hull. It is big enough for 3 people to fish out of and will take some decent waves. It is also small enough to get in and out of many boat landings that are unimproved. Light yet durable and easy to maintain, that is the boat for me.

Most peoples favorite boat is the one they own now or the one they wish they owned. As for me, my current favorite is my IOR design 1982 Catalina 38. My previous favorite was my Wilderness 30' racer/cruiser. Prior to that it was my 19' 600hp jet boat. My dream favorite is a 70' custom built ketch rigged cruiser that just came on the market . The only problem is the nearly $700,000.00 price tag.
