Is there still a concern of being hijacked by pirates at sea?
It's normal for there to be some oil in the cowling. If it's excessive it could be a bad check valve in the oil pump. Sometimes they don't seat very well and the oil can run by.am looking for used motor yatched 65-75 mtrs any one help me?
I can't help you but this website has a great motor repair forum you should check out.http://pagebiz.com/pawfish/index.htm...

Is there a website that I can use to find out what size propeller I need for my boat?
Good luck
not sure what's an oil sending unit?? if someone has done the carbs., maybe they have the pump linkage wrong. the oil in the cowl means stop what you're doing and find that problem & correct it before it turns to junk. since you like the motor, i would fork over some $$ and have a pro look at it.
How can I make a car that transforms into a boat?
hi, First I would check and make sure you have no broken or loose lines, also check and make sure spark plugs are tight. seeing how you replaced the sending unit the next step is to unhook it and mix the gas and oil yourself to see if that helps.Sounds like the unit is sending too much oil. also try a can of sea foam (at any auto parts store) this conditions the motor and cuts back on smoking. If still putting oil all over then check head and gasket. good luckMore Questions & Answers ...
