Ok so you drive a car, pilot a plane....what do you do with a submarine? Not captain I'm after the actual physical manoeuvring of the boat. There is money riding on the answer so please include your source.

Would go into great depth (sic) about what he actualy did as he never altered the speed or direction, he controlled the people who altered the speed and direction. All submarines have a Captain. Cast off all lines, make preparations for getting underway. Next the Captain gives orders for degrees of rudder and speed. Come to course 272. or what ever course is desired. Close all water tight hatches, fill main ballast, down bubble 10 degrees, dive, dive. Set speed at 1/3 rd. Come to 230 feet, level bubble.
