Starboard (right hand side) is green
From the bow the red port light will be visible in an arc for 112.5 degrees to port and from the bow the green starboard light will be visible for 112.5 degrees to starboard.
The stern light, by the way is white and makes up an arc of 135 degrees to complete the 360 degrees of normal navigation lights around the vessel.
Hope this helps you out
