With the info you have given..here is the best answer I can give. I am assuming you now own or know the craft you need history on. In the U.S. it works like this...... Look at the transom of the boat and find the hull identification number. Mine is stamped into the transom on the upper right corner. Next go to the people who supply you with your boat registration sticker to operate. Here with me it is the North Carolina Wildlife registration. Give them the hull number you have and they can pull it up through their data bank and tell you where it was last registered to operate and tell you also its means of power (IE... Gas..Diesel...Sail...etc ). They can tell you passenger limit..length of vessel...the whole nine yards. Try that and see if it will give you the info you want.Hi, my suggestion is to go to your local wildlife and fisheries office with the information of the hull number and or the serial number , usually located in the right rear corner of the transom. Wildlife and fisheries will not give you the name of the previous owner without calling that person and seeing if it's ok to pass out there name and telephone number in order to get in touch ,unless you already have thier name on the registration and address you can get in touch with them and ask them questions about the boat. Or if you bought the boat from someone else that bought it from a previous owner and hadn't changed ther tittle over or has lost it. You can go to your local wilife and fisheries dept and ask them with the hull id # to contact that person because you bought the boat from him and had lost the tittle. Then you will need to get in touch with that owner and get a new bill of sell done in your name so you can transfer the boat and anything else into your name so you can have a clear tittle for everything. I hope this has helped in anyway as I had to do this because I bought a boat like that and the guy I got it from couldn't produce the tittle for it so I went about ti a different way.
