How powerful of a jetski do I need to pull tubes and skis?

How powerful of a jetski do I need to pull tubes and skis? What kind of speeds do I need to pull someone and just how fast can some ski behind you? And I want to really pull someone on the tub, to the point of them flying off and then some!

What you need is something with enough power to get the skier up on plane quickly, to pull them up out of the hole. Once they are up you don't need as much power. I own an 800cc yamaha jetski and it is o/k for the job but some more power would be nice. It has 120hp and I think the bigger 1200cc units can push over 150hp. That extra power would be nice, especially with a tube. You will also need a 3 seater, by law (in my state) you need an observer, and a place for the skier to sit also.
