LONG ISLAND, NY: I always launch mine on or about "Memorial day", I could go in earlier but, I like the feeling of kicking in "SUMMER TIME" this way, I usually wait for the parade to be over in front of my house, with my "ALL American" "Boston Whaler", all shiny and ready to go, complete with an American flag on her bow, (everyone always points and cheers) I hook up, 12 mins. later I'm splashing in, 20 mins. later we are at the dock, moored and IT"S SUMMER TIME ! who wants to go for a ride ?When does a boat become a ship and vice versa ?
