I bought new 30hp lw and found out its tohatsu masked with mercury but cost more.Why this happen ? Its suck!?

My 1st OBM was yamaha ,2&3 was Original mercury portable & midrange its great !!till now i get masked mercury for my new dinghy( its Tohatsu though).I' not complaining the quality or performance of tohatsu its good engine.But i feel being sucked by mercury and i wont get any mercury obm in futures,it's a shame such a reputable company done this.All portable version 30 hp & below except 25hp were masked/rebadge without even change the shape & parts except decal & paintwork(poor paintwork alot of missed area and need touch up unlike the previous production which through ED process).

Mercury opened a plant in China or Japan don't remember which, but if I can ever afford another rig it will not have a Mercury on it. I will go with either Yamaha or Evenrude.
