Boy howdey, I can tell you from personal experience. Its the Mexican crabs. Sailed into the Pacific with'em once. Sure didn't talk about it on board. Found a really quick fix, though. Cockroach spray. Them crabs was dead before I quit screaming.Cockroaches though not actually the worst is what you are referring too in the maritime sense.
