i agree with "the mogul", try lime-a-way, although it might take several bottles depending on the size of the boat...Id u accdenly get a girl mad for doing nothing what do you do ( just a friend)?
First try vinegar, lime is a "Base", vinegar is a light "acid", or you can go to the hdwr. store and get "Muriatic" acid and cut it with water, I would try "Vinegar" and a brush first, might take a few attempts, then try the muriatic acid cut but, make sure that you rinse well with fresh water when done, as the motor, and boat are made of from Aluminum which doesn't like too much acid (it pits).Can a conventional catamaran achieve speed in excess of 60 mph?
They sell an aluminum cleaner in the auto stores for aluminum rims! Or take it to your local truck stop and have them do it! The truck stops use a cleaner that will have it looking new in no time! However, if you have time on your hands try the wheel cleaner!PS: I'm some what confused! Is it in the water all year or out in the winter? Kind of contradictory isn't it?
go to a boat store and ask for on-off it is for removing this sort of thing and scum stains it is allot better than all the other stuff out their and you will only have to do it once!
