There's no way to answer that question. The cam profile, cam timing, ignition timing, combustion chamber design, engine temperature, air temperature, relative humidity, and a host of other variables all would have to be taken into account. And even then, there's no hard & set answer.how much would it cost me to fiberglass a 10 in speaker box?

I would'nt try for higher than 8.5 to 1, 8 to 1 is surely safe. Boats require the horsepower of an auto pulling a steep grade all the time they are under power. Any higher comp ratio and you'll experience detonation. Rattles.Why not keep the compression low, and add a super charger ?
