Dinghy Boat?

Assuming that you are in a conventional canal craft then the normal method of calculating passage time is to use "Lock Miles" This uses the equivalent times of 4 locks per hour or 4 miles per hour. Count the locks divide by 4 = hours. Measure the mileage divide by 4 = hours add the two together and that will give you an approximate passage time. Do not forget to add mooring up for lunch at the pub at lunch time, the next pub for dinner and drinks at tea/dinner time and a late breakfast the following morning to recover from the nights excesses before you get going again.

I'm looking for a starter for my Mitsubishi marine engine which is model 260-C or it maybe a C-260.?

Sailing along canals is very tricky as the wind often does not come from a direction that enables you to use it. This could lead to you being tied up for days on end waiting for it to shift.
To avoid this self imposed Doldrum effect I suggest you buy a motor or if you don't have that much money, at least a set of oars. This will reduce the time dramatically.
