1989 yamaha 150 pro v ,throttle control alarm?

Question:
buzzer alarm starts when i turn the boat on we start moving at half throttle engine loses power ,alot of smoke come out exaust .turn engine off for a few alarm goes away ,and then alarm come back on again ,every time alarm comes on engine loses power please help

It could also be the low oil alarm. The alarm and the excessive smoke could both be a result of a problem with the VRO pump. I wouldn't run it again until you get that checked out.

It's got a problem because the alarm is sounding and the ECM--Engine Control Module is holding your engine in "Safe Operation Mode" or " Emergency Mode" . The computer holds the engine back from full power. You need to take it in and have them check the codes to find the problem. Probably a sensor or something like that. I'll try and look it up later and get back to ya.
