how to use fuel pressure gauge?
stbd. side at the bottom is drain screw. at the upper part of the gearcase on the same side is the vent screw. remove both, drain lube. refill from bottom 'til lube comes from top hole. replace upper screw, then lower.can i use oil based paint 2 paint my fibre glass boat its not staying in water?
There is a slotted head screw plug on the bottom of the gearcase toward the front. There is another on the side of the gearcase about 6-8 inches up. Both these look like a shiny stainless screw head. Remove the bottom plug then the top plug and the gear lube will flow out. You may get a minute amount of water when you take the bottom plug out. If it is more than a thimble full you need to get seals checked. After allowing all the lube to flow out insert the tip of the new tube or bottle of gear lube into the BOTTOM hole and squeeze the lube back into the unit until it comes out the top hole. When lube comes out the top hole replace the top plug then remove the tip from the bottom hole and replace the bottom plug. You have filled your gearcase to the proper level.More Questions & Answers ...
