Fun day boat race design ideas...?

Question:
Entering a funday boat race down a river and am curious if anyone knows of any sites that offer ideas for boat designs, it's all a bit of fun but would like to put something good together. Boat is for four people and has to be rowed can't have any mechanical propulsion.
