Question:
Do you think that cruise ships have enough life perservers&life boats to accomodate everyone on the boat if something were to go wrong?
Answers:
what's the best johnson/evinrude motor ever built?
Yes they do. After some maritime disasters (Titanic) International Maritime Law required all ships to carry more than enough life jackets and life boats to carry passengers and crew. All cruise ships carry out abandon ship drills almost immediately after getting underway to familiarize passengers with the location of this safety gear and these procedures.what is the BEST way to build a rope bridge 1/4 at least mile long???
Well when i went on a cruise Everyone on the boat got a life preserver and was shown how to use it in a mandatory demonstration. Life boats, their looked like there was enough but I didn't count themwhy does a ship float,though its so heavy?
Definetly. In this day and age they're liable and have to take the precautions.How to remove mold from my boat covers?
Yes, they do.When I went on a cruise-they had life vests in our cabin.
How does a on board battery charger work?
I'm fairly certain federal regulations require there to be ample life preservers/rafts, in case of an emergency.
Of course they do its part of the ship's health and safety requierment
How do they line up the space statin to dock?
My first job on a cruise ship was to check and replace every life-jacket light and whistle in each cabin before the next group of people came aboard. Plus all the spares stored on deck and in the lifeboats. There are more than enough life preservers on the ship for everyone IF most of them remember to take theirs from their room. Otherwise, they could be a little short. Lifeboats have a "theoretical" capacity way over the number of people on the ship. Try to fit half as many people on a boat as they are listed for and people start complaining.any cruise ship that works out of American...or First World Europe... ports must carry.......one life jacket for everyone, plus 25% in childrens size, plus 50% additional;
each cruise ship also carries enough life boats plus life rafts ON EACH SIDE to take EVERYONE.(passengers and crew)off...so you have almost twice as much capacity as you need....you could lose ALL the lifeboat and rafts on one side and still be safe
yes,
in jaws the captain would not wear them as he had an experience on the Indianappolis
but you will be ok as long as you don't eat too much food as they serve food 24/7 on most ships
