Question:
This will be a one time trip, it is gong from land to land, no water involved. It can be a goose neck or a regular trailer.
If it is a rental, I need to be able to return it in the city I live in, not the city I picked up the trailer from.
Thanks for helping!!

Does a 1989 85hp force boat motor and a 1986 85 hp force have the same powerhead?
There are marine haulers in business in most cities. I would seriously consider one as opposed to a DIY job. Height is a big thing as well as the wide load mentioned above. It must have a 6 ' keel and hull to deal with for sure. You wouldn't want to make a mess of it on the way from one to another town.If you insist on the DIY move, contact a hauler and see if you can rent the trailer from them and/or what you need for capacity for your boat.
Good Luck!
What is the difference between types of kayaks?
WOW... that will take something you can haul with a semi tractor and you will probably need wide load permits and the whole DOT requirements to move it. A 42 foot sailboat is DEFINITELY a wide load and tons of it.More Questions & Answers ...
