I am going to key west by boat and need a place to stay for 1 night any suggestions?
Do you have 2 batteries? Maybe one of them goes to the interior and the other to the starting of the motor? Could possibly be the starter switch or the starter motor. Are all of your battery connections tight and clean. Does your battery have a good charge. Is there a fuse box. Check all fuses and make sure none of them are blown.need more info as to what type of motor you have.
Did you check the main harness connector on motor and fuse / breaker

check the cables first. if the conns. are clean & tight, it's a fuse. a better description of the rig would help.Can anyone suggest a good outboard motor fuel system treatment?
Check where the positive cable hooks to the engine starter solenoid. There may be a fuse block power tap that feeds the ignition and accessories. (Little plasic block about 3/4" square.) This may be blown and needs to be replaced. Use a test light to see if you have power at the cable but not at the feed wire to the ignition/acc.More Questions & Answers ...
