Try to make sure it goes to a good home, someone who will love it as much as you do.It is indeed difficult to part with your boat. The previous owners of my 38' sailboat treated the sale almost as an adoption! . They had to know that the boat that had taken them to Mexico and across the Pacific and back safely, was going to someone who would love and care for her as much as they did. They actually rejected several higher offers for her than the one I made. If I ever have to part with this boat, I will have the same criteria for her prospective new owners.
