Which household product best emulsifies water in gasoline?

I'm looking for a very cheap, commonly available alternative to those overpriced, pint sized "water removers" you can buy in boating hardware stores.

+ Alcohol, Combines with water and can make it burn up with the fuel in the right combination. but too much will just mess up your system. Alcohol is the main ingredient in the other products. (It is the non drinking kind but the 190 proof drinking alcohol like "Everclear" might work. Check how much fuel you have first so you don't put in too much and also it is nice to know how much water is in your fuel so you won't out too much. Most people just drain the tank and take the fuel off the top after it settles as gas is lighter than water.

You could buy a can of Sea Foam at any auto supply store. It's around $5. That will help burn out the water and will also help burn off carbon deposits if you have any built up. This should help it run more smooth. You could also try Stabil. I don't have any household suggestions other than spend $5 on the Sea Foam and don't make a big mistake by putting the wrong thing in you gas tank and ruining your motor. Big $$$$!

I would dump the fuel, whats the alternative ? save some money ? or "TOAST" a motor ? if its a few gallons, use it in the yard equipt. at home, if it's like 275 gallons, then I would us a good fuel additive, instead of guess work, and garage chemistry using unknown concentrations.

alcohol does not emulsify the water--it makes the water be able to burn by absorbing it. different type action. emulsified gas does not burn.
