if your boat is wood or fiberglass you can use a plastic scraper and a heavy duty scrubgy--green or blue or white.
if it is a plastic canow or kayak, ley iy dry, scrape them off with a plastic scraper, then follow up the cl;eaning with baby butt wi[pes--takes off the grunge--only works on plastic--nt fibrglass.
i recommend a good bottom paint, if yoyu can find it. the kind with copper in are great for all but aluminum--thioase want zinc paint.
