I am trying to trace a wooden yacht called "VINGEN" built in Norway in the 1940's?

Question:
Vingen was a varnished yacht about 39ft long with a spoon bow and pointed stern.The rig was called "Longstron Rig", the mast revolved ,had no rigging and the sails goose winged when running with the wind. It was shipped to Vancouver in the late fifties.Can anyone help me find it's where abouts. Ann G.R.

try the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle or WoodenBoat Magazine up in Maine....they can at least send you in the general direction....I know Vancouver is a hotbed of woodenboats but dont know who Information Central is there..
