Clear coat question?

Ok the clear coat is on, now how long do i wait, and should i wet sand w/1000 it or use buffing compund?

Don't sand it with 1000 grit or you will be buffing
out scratches for ever.
I used to try to paint the clear on so I didn't have to buff them.

depends on the temp were you live. but give it at least overnight and let it bake in the sun. then wet sand it with some 1500 grit sand paper unless u have alot of trash in the paint. then use a buffing compound then a good wax.
