Problems on my boat. what to do?
Pretty hard to beat Honda for reliability. End of story.I am looking for Info. on a Tug Boat from the early 60s named the Tessy Leigh?
Honda 4 strokes are very good motors. What is are you putting the motor on though and what will it be used for?Need suggestions on how to clean fiberglass boat..rust stains, etc...?
Honda, seems to be the best motor in the long runwhat happened to the ship espaniola ?
If you go by what the pros use, I would say Honda or better yet, Evinrude. Mercury/Mariner also make very good outboards along with Yamaha. You can't go wrong with any of them if you're buying new. Older used models, now that's a different story. If I were to personally buy a new 50 HP outboard, I wouldn't look any further than the Evinrude E-TEC 50.
What is a good boat for beginer yacht?
No body beats Suzuki in reliability for 4 stroke outboards period ! Honda is the lightest but I don't like the carbs or the price. Yamaha and Mercury are one in the same. I would go for the Suzuki if you have to have a 4 stroke, and like Honda, that's all they sell. Just ask someone that works on 4 stroke outboards, you'll see what I mean. Many a safe journey to you no mater what you decide.@@@@@ Again, Suzuki would be your best choice. Any body that knows anything of pontoon boats knows that the larger your propeller, the better. The DF50 Suzuki has a 2.27 to 1 gear ratio. It can handle a 12.5 dia. prop at great efficiency compared to the competition. It is true that parts take longer to obtain, but if your conscious of the maintenance, you'll never have to cross that bridge. Again, Suzuki is your best choice.Has the debate on revolutionary new fuel efficient propellers closed?
They all have pros and cons but I will put my money with Honda every time.where do you drain the hyd fluid on a 4506 duits tractor?
Yamaha #1What type of ship never sinks?
Honda, a bit pricey...Tohatsu, a bit less pricey and every bit as reliable. What does a 3rd mate unlimited do?
HONDA OR YAMAHA WOULD BE MY CHOICE! Suzuki makes a good engine also but harder to get parts for atleast in the mid west....the telephone number of the Lock keeper in Selby. Does anyone know the name of the lock?
