Paddle wheel business ended because the steam and oil engines proved to be too thirsty. Wood paddle blades break easily and much too frequently on the present litter strewn waterways. I've discoved a lot of deadheads the hard way.
But, yeah, my state ferry system sold one prop' last week at auction following only one bid, $45,000, from an Idaho resident.
God knows where actual paddle wheel ferry is, Makanac-boy.
