Question:
I currently use a 370 amp deep-cycle battery to run an electric trolling motor for docking. I'd like to run holiday lights up the stays of the mast. Can I use the same battery? How would I go about the wiring from scratch. Any suggestions are where to start?

+ Try an RV supply place, preferably the manufacturer and see if you can order 12 volt DC from them. It is better than trying to run an inverter plus you might be able to recharge your battery from your boat's engine. This will be a bit pricey no matter how you do it. I think it would look very holiday like so if you can afford it have some fun. You might want to rig your lights under a bridge abutment were you might be able to reach the yard arms.Good Luck
