Radio goes dim when brakes applied?

Question:
when towing the trailer and i apply the brakes my dash board light go dim the hook up i have is the t type that just plugs into the light system of my truck could it be the wiring on trailer is wrong and how do i tell

Answers:

Is it true on a boat you can not use the toilet in mainland sea?

Disconnect the trailer first see if the light dim when you hit the brakes, if not then you likely have a bad ground on the trailer wiring, its the most likely cause, If they do dim then check the light switch for loose wires and check all wiring grounds for tightness. A loose ground wire will let a light work at times and other times not work and will cause a draw as you discribed.
Good Luck and GOD Bless

Please can anyone tell me exactly how a ships anchor stops it from floating off?

Yes, there is a short in the trailer wiring. No easy way to figure that out, but with an ohm meter. Good luck.
