millionsto build the titanic again it would most likely cost about 50 million or more.
Considering the fact that the Queen Mary 2 cost $780,000,000 to build, $50 million wouldn’t even cover the down payment to build a clone of the Titanic.
what do you do with a submarine?
Considering technology has advanced so much since the Titanic, the cost of finding tradesmen who can duplicate the old construction techniques will be a monumental task in and of itself. I’ve seen estimates for such an undertaking ranging anywhere from $600 million to almost $800 million. The cost of constructing with backward technology is even more expensive than building with standard tech today.
I recently saw an add for a Houseboat?
After looking over everything I could find on the subject, I believe a well organized company could do it for around $650-$750 million. However, you would have to watch every penny and find craftsmen & tradesmen who can pull it off.
IMHO, I think it would be much more effective to build a similar ship with new tech but in old style. Better yet, give me all of the money, I’ll get a nice big yacht, rename it the Titanic II, and cruise around the world on the rest of the money saved. :o)

I would venture a guess that about 150,000,000 million dollars would do especially if you built the ship in a low cost country like India,South Korea,China. The TITANIC is a small ship by todays standards and the furnishings and panels are where the expense of building a new TITANIC would come from thus if you used the cheap but very talented labor of the third world countries especially in the wood carvings and rug making you could keep cost down quite nicely.lots
