Has anyone ever towed a 3400lb boat with a 2001 Honda Odyssey?
The power steering fluid is the same. Like it is stated before, you may have ATF in it, which does the same job. At my marina, we use ATF in them, the viscosity is a little thicker and therefore when it gets hot, the steering does not, what we call, "fade away" or become "too easy to turn." Engine compartments in boats hold much more heat than cars or trucks do, therefore having ATF in them makes the steering a little more predictable and reliable. What items is mercury (hg) used in and why?
