For fresh water tank and lines, first we empty them, then we put the cheapest vodka(colored green with food coloring) into the tank and pump till i comes out green from the faucets. It certainly leaves a better taste than the pink stuff. We empty the grey water and put some of the pink(enironmentally friendly) into the antifreeze the bottom. We use the same antifreeze in the holding tank afer it is empptied. You can choose the strength of the pink stuff depending on how cold it gets there.We do not put much into the grey and black tank, just enough to cover what ever was left.

you can't make a homemade one and if you do some how i suggest you dont i drove to Alaska in a RV with the tanks and everything and they got beat up pretty bad do if you plan on travleing with it i suggest you just buy one it waill save you money in the long run.
