Can anyone tell me what the equivalance of a knot is to mph?
HiFrom what i have read they will outlast an ordinary wet cell battery x up to five times. To get a better idea of the condition of the battery check your voltage. If it is above 12.3 volts you have a really good chance of utilising the battery. If the battery accepts current without the voltage rising above 13.5 volts for a time there is a fairly good chance the battery will be okay.
I would say charge them to manufactures specifacations and see what happens.
If the current drops back to 2% of the amp hr capacity of the battery at say 14.4 volts you can assume the battery is fully charged. Make sure that you don't go over 14.4 volt unless the maufacturer says so or you could stuff the battery.
Good luck.

Need to know what post to wire to for tach on 1976 Johnson 70 hp?
once charged up, depends on how low they run down or assuming your charging system ,(don't have one) not long , but a year is safe to say kep fluids up take them out during the winter season never set on conscrete and 2-3 is practical to the point wheer to know you can depend on themThey usually are charged when purchased. They are supposed to last longer.

i once had a Yuasa battery go 8 yrs. of course i used on my machine not a customer's. there are cheaper ones on the market so the time may vary. hope that helps.I need to find a drain plug for a caravan carver water heatr made before 1986 thank you?
depends on the battery, but i would say a few years(3-4) if you keep a battery maintainer attached to it, if it is in the cold climate. It is better to keep the battery at a full charge... also do not worry about the concrete thing..that is a mythMore Questions & Answers ...
