are you the same person that asked how to get into a lower unit a couple of weeks ago? if so, congratulations. count the teeth on the pinion(smaller) gear and divide it into the number of teeth on one of the larger gears. there may be more than one ratio for that year model. it is permissible to replace all 3 as a set that have a slightly different ratio. i.e., used set of gears for a good $ buy. lol.
