where can i get a boat-shaped container? I really need it for a presentation?
DO NOT HIT THE CRANKSHAFT! If it is anything like a Johnson you need a special flywheel puller. And from what the mechanic told me when I was having problems and wanted to pull my flywheel, a Merc is very complicated. Back to why you don't hit the crank, it will break the crankshaft seals. I tried to get my flywheel off, even made a tool to do it. Broke the bolts, but the shop got it right off with the right tool. Good luck. How many knots, per mile per hour? Knots=MPH?
You need a flywheel puller! Do not hit anything, you could damage the flywheel or the crank. A gear puller could bend or destroy the flywheel. With the nut removed from the crank you can see there are threads in the flywheel. This is where the puller screws on. The center of the puller has a bolt that will screw down onto the crank and pop the flywheel off. Maybe you can rent or borrow one?More Questions & Answers ...
