The serpintine belt on my '02 merc inboard leaves rubber dust all over the engine compartment.?
(13.25 X 17) SS ..........Standard good all around performance for your application. Trust me I know ! This is for the NON thru hub exhaust 125 hp Force outboard on a open bow 19' Capri Bayliner........ As far as your performance question, it could be that you have a exhaust boot leak and the engine is choking on it's own fumes or may be you need a rod to timing base adjustment. You should have a top speed of 37mph.a 19 or 21 pitch. One thing you might try is a stainless steel prop instead of the aluminum. It won't flex as much and will give better drive.
That's a light engine, but then again, that's Bayliner's style.
If you look for a boat, go for a Sea Ray or the equivalent. They hold their value much longer.
Notika Yacht Builders, Turkey?
It depends on how many rpms your turning. ideal for a 125 o/b it about 5000-5400 i believe. if your below that then decrease your pitch. i think its about 200 rpm per pitch. If i was to bet, I'd say a 16 would do ya fine.Passenger transportation and carraige via ocean/freight vessels?
a pitch of about 19 would be the largest for you. if you go smaller, your rpm will go up and could harm your engine. plus another factor will be the blades, 3 may be just fine, but 4 could work or could not work.depends looking for speed or power different types of props 3 blade 4 blade other words just for fishing or fishing and sking or just sking. ss is a good start for durablity
