If so you want to use a marine grade plywood at least 1/2 inch thick. Then you want to seal it good and paint or cover with carpet. Another option for a good non slip floor is a product called "Duraliner" or "Herculiner" . Both are truck bed lining products that you can get on line and apply yourself. Some of the auto parts store carry both products in stock however most of the time they only have black. Order off the web-sites and you can get colors. if the floor is actually metal it should be cleaned/blasted free of any rust and treated with an epoxy coating. personally i would use a non skid paint system on steel than carpet as the carpet holds moisture and will encourage corrosion. If it is aluminium floor it would be better off left bare and have your carpet removable to keep it clean. there are acid cleaners for aluminium.can anybody teach me how to convert grass cutter engine into bicyle motor?

A WATER PROOF ONE, TEAK3/4 teak and holly laminated marine plywood. looks great, goes in easily in one piece and no need for sub-flooring.
