Question:
I'm lookin around for my first car and I have one in mind. I was thinking like a '95-'03 Civic or some other sedan or coupe that's in standard. I really don't have too much money to spend. ($8,000 max) I heard that repo auctions are pretty good for your money. Also wondering how long they last and if there's gonna be a lot of problems, that sorta thing. I'm hoping that I can find a cheap one and add a body kit, and maybe some other accessories like head/tail lights, tinted windows, rims etc...Answers to any of this would be greatly appreciated seeing as I am quite confused about what to get. Also if you have any other cars in mind...man that was long. Thanks for the help!

I want to sell my nissan altima for $13000?
you can find them in your home town on ebay Map-It.all right here is the issue. repo auctions are not just for repos. This about this. if you knew your car was going to be repoed anyway would you take care of it or beat the crap out of it get back at the bank. No matter whos auction it is there is always risk. We buy and sell cars at auction all the time. There is always a reason a car is there many times not a good reason. Thousands of Katrina flood cars wound up at "repo" auctions. they were "repod" from people who could not get to them because they were 6' under water. At an auction, unless you have a parter back at an office like a dealer does and can run a car fax history on the car before bidding you have no clue what the cars story is. At least at a car dealer in most states you get some sort of warranty. You could get a real good deal dress it all up like you want only to have it blow an engine or catch on fire from an electricial issue. Unless you know the car thats going through the auction stay away.
