If they do, how much would they pay for a car that has an MSRP of $30,000?

Would you buy a 1990 Honda Civic for $2400 with a new motor in it with 51k on it?

Not unless laws in your state allow 16/17 year olds to sign legal contracts. A lease is a legal contract. Furthermore, a good credit history is required.

Not without parental consent. This is b/c the law allows minors to disavow contracts in many areas adults cannot. This is b/c the law treats them as having diminished capacity to contract. So a minor on their own is highly unlikely to be able to lease a car. There is always a chance though - as it is not illegal or anything. And it is impossible to say how much the trade in on a car that has an MSRP of $30g's will garner as the make and model can be an incentive to the dealer to give more or less depending on demand. in any event, they would offer you a dollar if they thought youwould accept it. Check out "kellybluebook" online, they will tell you what the "trade in" value of your car in your area is. Good luck.
