Does anyone have any advice on buying a used car?
I think purchasing a car that you have not driven, have not been able to touch or otherwise inspect, is high risk at best. Not inspecting the engine compartment, the belts, shifting the gears, driving at high and low speeds, checking all gauges and levers controlling heat, ac, looking for leaks or otherwise wear and tear, and possible issues that may lead you to believe the car has a rebuilt/salvage title, none of these can be done online. I may look at the cars online, get a feel for the market and price range, but I would never purchase the car, without seeing and driving the car first, my money is worth more to me. You can find the same make/model/yr in your own area, shop locally and save thousands. How do i import a car from the states and how much would it cost?
