Answers:

I only have $1,000. can anyone help?

If you made an agreement that you could run the car for a week, I would say it doesn't matter if you paid in full. the argument would be if you have a receipt saying "as is". then you'll have trouble getting back any money. call one of those "Free Consultation" lawyers. you have nothing to lose. Good Luck.

Pl.tell me the price of a honda city car?

1. Get a second opinion from another reputable repair shop.
2. If the contract stated "as is", it's your problem.
3. If you have the paper that states the only problems, you can file in small claims court if it was NOT "as is."
Good luck.

What do I have to look out for when buying a second hand car?

Sounds like you'll be taking her to court if she wont honor your deal, AND you have a contract with her that doesnt say "AS-IS" or anything like that, just that it needed oil and brakes. Was kind of dumb of you to give her all the money that day however.

How to escape a contract from an auto sale?

But if it were me... is the car in good shape? If all it needed was a transmission and a brake job, and the engine and body was in good shape along with everything else, i'd find someplace cheap to do the work.

What is the most sold, is highest in demand, vehical in San Diego?

Never get a dealer to do work, they always overcharge, get a tranny rebuild and new brakes new tires, all fluid flushed and a tuneup, in $2000 and a few weeks time you'll have a very nice car, and I think $3000 would be worth it for a lexus.

Which is the better pick? A Nissan Altima or Ford Escape?

"AS IS" meansjust that. As it is! She saw you coming.

Why do people think their vehicles are worth as much as they owe? So if they owe 0 is the vehicle worth 0? :)?

I don't know which state your in, and what rules apply. But I am sure your court system is close to ours. This will go into the small claims department. To get a lawyer is not going to be practical because of cost. You can go to your court house, and get the papers for filling a claim (fraud or misrepresent) against this party. There is a filing fee, but I believe this is your best avenue. Breaking bones isn't practical anymore. The District Attorney's office may be able to assist you by advising you. I'm afraid that this is morally wrong, but not legally wrong. People are not always nice. I hope this is not abuse but a honest call. Let the Judge sort it out. Good luck!
