Although I have bought a car from them, I believe they specialize in low/poor credit customers. Most places like this are riddled with the stereotypical salesman image. Major world also advertises cars at prices much lower than market price. Its a bit of a ploy though since the ads usually have large down payments or other terms built into them which bring the price back to reasonable levels. With any car purchase, get a carfax, get your own financing through your bank unless at a major manufacturer (which has better rates), don't be afraid to ask to see the invoice sheet, and ask for both monthly rates if using their financing and the car price. When I used to sell cars the trick would be to never really discuss the car's price, just the monthly. Unfortunately, its an easy way to pump up car price without letting the consumer know.

And most important, if you don't trust the place, don't buy from them. Trust me that a bit more money for your own buying satisfaction will pay off in the long run - especially if you do repairs and service through them.
