Question:
I am wanting to become a sales man at one of my local cadillac, gm, or pontiac car lots around my area. What does it take? Do I need any certain schooling, or do I just go to them, get an application, and they train me if I get hired? Is there anything else important I should know? Thanks!
Answers:
Just go fill out an application.
How do I get out of this bad car deal?
You should know about the cars you will be selling and the company you will be selling for...they train you on the spot. all you need to do is lie to customers and become cut throat because if you dont sell cars you dont get paid. but if you can do that you will do great. good luck maybe ill buy my next caddy from you
Most dealers will train you, assuming they are willing to hire someone with no experience. Normally, you would work with an experienced salesperson for a while, then work on your own. It'll take a while, maybe a year, before you start making decent money.
What are the chances of buying a car with a kind of bad credit?
Many dealers don't like to train new people because they know you'll change jobs soon. They don't want to make the investment in someone who they are pretty sure won't stay with them. It's easier to just hire someone with experience.
