We signed the three year leadership lease, but would like to turn the pilot in early.

Yes , you can get out of it But you will have to pay a lot to do so. The Honda is probably not worth what you owe, so you would give them the car and the money to make up the difference. If you are close to the end of the lease and want to trade for another Honda product, they might be more receptive.
